Merry Christmas all. I found this forum from the Pride center website.

Well let me tell you a bit about myself...

I'm a 30 year old transgender MTF pre-op living in the Edmonton area. I've sort have kept my life very private and very closed to the public majority. I'm not as one would say "someone who came out of the closet". I was adopted at the age of thirteen yet before and till now have always known I was nevet ment to have this abnormal body.

Having friends is rather difficult (personalities clash alot, including socially). A friend thought that this forum would be a great place to at least meet people and chat about things in common and to get support (for what I'm still baffled). I've been shall you say "living in role" for well about 9 years (though longer under the clothes). I don't consider myself living in role as well for me it's all been natural for me, I'm viewed by the general public as female and nobody knows different. I was born with a condition known as PAIS (partial adrogen insensativity syndrome) but with one major quirk...I'm able to have kids.

Anyways, I hope to get to know at least one person from here, places like this well sort of scare me and yet well do make me a bit uncomfortable, but I thought I'd at least give it a try.

Hi!

I've just come back from Africa (hi everyone!) so I haven't been around lately. Welcome to the forum! What kinds of things do you like to do?

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. Well to answer your question, I do a lot of things...mainly by myself as I do not hae many friends to do things with (due to lack of transportation and a few things).

I work 2 jobs (one normal and one thats my own business), in my sare time I like to write (everythingfrom short stories to novels and such, done a few screenplays). I'm a somewhat cultured person but not into the bar scene at all (nor do bars eally appeal to me all that much but I've been t a few).

with my home business, I really do not find the time to get out much, then again I don't have anyone to really get out with and the drive to do anything at that point.

wha about everyone else?

Uhhh, well, I like getting out and doing things, depending on what's on the city calendar this day or next. Long walks...tho' in the winter I'm more fond of indoor things, even if it's just sitting in the food court yakking. I don't like the bar/club scene either, haven't been to one in a long time, I can't hear in them anyway.
